TIS General English courses are designed to help you achieve fluency, accuracy and confidence but, above all, to help you communicate effectively.

Key points of these courses are:-

• A choice of 18, 23 or 30*hours* tuition per week *1 tuition hour = 60 minutes
• Classes take place from Monday to Friday inclusive
• Class size - maximum 10 students per class with maximum 12 per class in July/August
• Average class size 6-8 in winter and 8-9 in summer
• Multi-national classes
• Use of TIS course books and tuition materials
• Reduced prices for long-stay students
• Minimum age 16 years - but please note average age range is 20 to 45
• Levels – Elementary to Advanced
• Course length – from 2 weeks to 1 year
• Start dates – almost every Monday throughout the year
• Exam courses for IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEIC, TOEFL
• Level Test on the first Monday and regular testing thereafter
• End of course Certificate

General English Course – 18 hours per week
5 mornings from 0900 to 1230 and Tuesday afternoon from 1330 to 1600.

General English Course Plus Options – 23 hours per week  5 mornings and 3 afternoons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The additional 5 hours on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons enable you to choose from a range of options or special focus courses such as Communication Skills, Business, Examination Preparation (IELTS and others), Literature, Introduction to Law and others when available.

Examination Courses – 23 hours per week
Preparation for IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEIC, TOEFL.

New Business – 30 hours per week
This is a full day course with General English classes in the mornings and mini-group Business classes every afternoon from Monday to Friday inclusive.
